Complete lesson plans linking the IMAX movie experience with the Michigan Curriculum Framework Standards and Benchmarks for Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts are available.
Use the Teacher Guides to introduce the movie to your class prior to the IMAX experience, and then integrate the movie themes and content into your classroom studies after your students’ IMAX visit.

partnership has provided us with new resources to enhance classroom instruction. The Kent ISD's 'Kent County Collaborative Core Curriculum' (KC4)
is aligned with the Michigan Curriculum Framework and is used in many schools in Kent County and beyond.

'Connections' show where the activities in the 'IMAX Teacher Resource Guides' (available for downloading on this page) are connected to
the Kent ISD's KC4 curriculum standards.
'Focus Questions' have been developed to assist teachers and parents in discussing the films with their students / children. These 'Focus Questions' are organized
by grade level and reference the KC4 standards which are aligned with the film.
