What is THX?

THX is more that just a sound system. The 10,000-watt sound system in auditorium is only one component of THX. The THX Program considers all aspects of a theatre's audio and visual performance, including architecture, acoustics, projection equipment and the installation of THX approved loudspeakers, amplifiers and other sound equipment.
