GRAND RAPIDS AUDIENCES TO GET "FIRST LOOK" AT NEW JAMES CAMERON MOVIE AVATAR

Celebration! Cinema North IMAX theatre will host sold-out, special 15-minute 3D trailer preview this Friday.

Grand Rapids, Michigan - -  Tuesday, August 18th - -2009 - - Grand Rapids has been chosen to view a 15-minute 3D trailer of  James Cameron's new motion picture epic AVATAR.  While the movie does not premier until December 18th, Cameron and the movie distributor, Twentieth Century Fox, will allow Celebration! Cinema North – one of only about 100 theatres in the US - to exhibit a 15-minute 3D trailer on Friday, August 21.  Grand Rapids will see it at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM in IMAX 3-D at Celebration! Cinema North.  Free tickets completely sold out in minutes when released Monday, August 17 at the movie's official website www.avatarmovie.com.

Cameron's vision of AVATAR began fourteen years ago.  The past four years have been devoted to the production of the movie.
